Through weekly small groups, worship and high energy activities, kids in Preschool through 5th Grade will grow and expand their understanding of who God is - and have a blast at the same time!

We've taken the work out of Wednesays for you by planning dinner for you and your family! We offer a rotating menu each week - which ranges from pizza & hot dogs to a build-your-own nachos night! Menu rotates weekly, and is announced via the Wednesday Night Live! Weekly Email. Pre-register for your favorite dinners. $4 per person.

CHILDREN'S CHOIRS
1ST - 5TH GRADE: 5:00 - 5:40 PM
PRESCHOOL - KINDERGARTEN: 5:40 - 6:00 PM
Children learn easy praise songs and get an introduction to performing by singing in worship throughout the year. Grade-school children learn wonderful Contemporary Christian songs, expressive motions, and have a lot of fun preparing to present these melodies to the congregation in worship.
1st-5th grade students also have an opportunity to audition for the Christmas and Spring musicals. Both free of charge.
Musical Rehearsals for those that have speaking roles are on TUESDAYS from 4:30 - 6:00 PM.
SPECIAL CHILDREN'S EVENTS
Light of Christ believes in the value of training families in developmentally appropriate spiritual practices. These are our special once-a-year opportunities for parents to plant a "spiritual seed" in the children's lives and grow together in faith with your child.
FIRST COMMUNION
Fifth grade families join us for a series of fun workshops that will help your child understand why and how we take communion. We even stomp grapes and make communion bread! Upon completion of the workshops, participating fifth graders, celebrate their First Communion together during a worship service. Attendees will also enjoy an authentic Seder meal.

BIBLE DISCOVERY
STORYBOOK BIBLE DISCOVERY gives younger kids (ages 3-6) a chance to experience the Bible in a way that's just for them. One-point lessons. Bible stories told with real Scripture (the easy-to-read NLT). And fun activities that make a lasting impression on children's' thoughts and hearts.
Teachers and parents of 1st - 5th grade students love the HANDS ON BIBLE because it helps kids see the "Jesus Connection" throughout the whole Bible. Plus it helps them see the best connection of all—the one to their own lives.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
VBS stands for Vacation Bible School, and it is a summer church ministry (for Preschool through 5th Grade students) focused on giving kids a fun and creative place to learn about the Bible and to build relationships. We acheive this through creative Bible story-telling, activities, worship - and even time for some tasty snacks! Our students love VBS so much - that after they age-out of the program, they often come back as student-leaders!

THEATER CAMP
Theater Camp is available for all students who will be ages 10-17 at the time of camp in July each summer. Campers will put on a full-scale musical theater production within a two-week time frame as they are led and coached by our talented staff. Auditions will be scheduled after registrations have been secured, and will take place the first full week in June. In addition to putting on the show, campers will help contribute to set-design and costuming. Don't miss this incredible opportunity to grow your performance skills, build great friendships, and have a blast putting on an amazing show!
