Our passion is to lead students into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  Through our ministries we seek to equip students with the spiritual foundation necessary to become true disciples of Jesus who impact God's Kingdom.

MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAMMING: we are commited to helping middle schoolers understand and own their faith.

Students and leaders meet for a large group teaching and then transition to small groups for discussion and prayer.  Serving, fellowship and retreats round out this action packed ministry.  8th grade students complete their studies with a Faith expression presentation followed by their affirmation of Baptism in the spring. • Summer JAM: Wednesdays during the summer, 6:30-8pm.  A place for friendships and

continued faith growth that includes games and hangout time, large and small group teaching and prayer time.

HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAMMING: we try to offer many different ways for High School students to connect with God and other Christian students,  serve the church and the local community, and have fun doing it!

  • Summit midweek gathering: Tuesdays 7-9pm

We engage in real life application discussions that are centered in God's Word.  This is time to hang out with friends, learn about God and have fun doing it no matter where you are in your faith journey.  Students are encouraged to bring friends.

  • Sr High Bible Study: Sundays 12-1pm

We dive deeper into God's Word, eat donuts and stir up lively discussion.

"The youth group at Light of Christ is full of people who genuinely care about you.  I was able to find God because of all the immense support and amazing people that I get to see every Tuesday night at Summit."

Add in Bible Verse

Every year, usually mid-June, a group of 50+ Sr. High students and adult leaders travel out of their comfort zone to another city, partnering with a youth Mission organization.  They throw themselves into a week of serving, caring, helping and making a difference.  Lives are changed--especially their own!  Powerful times of worship are also a part of the experience.

Registration opens in early fall and often fills up quickly. Our students work hard during the year to raise funds through a variety of efforts.  It is a powerful life-changing week that many students look back on as a highlight of their high school journey.

"I connected with God the most.  I feel God daily now and know He's always there for me."

"God showed up in BIG ways during our worship times."

Don't let anyone look down on your youth... but be an example and pattern for believers in speech...

in conduct... in love... in faith... and in purity...   1 Timothy 4:12
